What is a lurk?
A lurk is an AI assisted search you create for specific topics, keywords, or Twitter handles. Our AI checks these regularly and sends you summaries of what’s important.
What counts as a lurk operation?
Each time we check your lurk and create a summary, that’s one operation. If you have 5 active lurks and we check them daily, that’s 5 operations per day.
What happens if I go over my monthly limit?
You’ll be charged $0.09 per extra lurk operation. We’ll never cut you off - just bill for overages at the end of the month.
How often do lurks run?
Currently lurks run once per day. We’re testing optimal frequencies during our beta.
Can I pause a lurk without deleting it?
Yes, click the pause button on any lurk to stop it temporarily. It won’t use any operations while paused.
When do I get charged?
You’re billed on the same date each month that you signed up. Overage charges are added to your next bill.
How do I change my plan?
Go to Account Settings → Billing → Change Plan. Changes take effect immediately and we’ll prorate the difference.
Why didn’t I get my lurk summary email?
Check your spam folder first. Then verify your email in Account Settings. If it’s still missing, contact support.
Can I export my lurk summaries?
Not yet, but it’s coming. For now you can copy/paste from your dashboard.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Account Settings → Billing → Cancel Subscription. You’ll keep access until the end of your billing period.
What platforms do you support?
Currently just Twitter/X. Instagram, LinkedIn, and Reddit coming soon.
Is there an API?
Not for individual users. Business tier customers can request API access.
How do I delete my account?
Email support@getlurk.com from your registered email. We’ll delete everything within 48 hours.
Can I share my lurk summaries?
Summaries are private to your account. Sharing features are planned for later.
Do you offer refunds?
Yes, 7-day money-back guarantee. Just email support and we’ll process it immediately.
